Maria Di Battista is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is bilingual in Spanish and English. She offers therapy and counseling for adults, couples and children. Ms. Di Battista is available for evening and weekend appointments.

Her practice serves clients in the Simi Valley, Moorpark, Thousand Oaks, and Conejo Valley areas. Ms. Di Battista earned her Master of Arts degree in Psychology from the Phillips Graduate Institute. She is also a graduate of UCLA, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.

In addition to her private practice, Ms. Di Battista, works for Ventura County Behaviroal Health. Ms. Di Battista was the Clinical Director for Hathaway-Sycamores and prior to that she was the Clinical Director for El Centro De Amistad Inc.

Ms. Di Battista is trained in Managing Adaptive Practices, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Seeking Safety. She uses these models to assist children, adolescents, as well as adults overcome trauma. Ms. Di Battista has also completed the Domestic Violence 40-hr Training Certification and has worked with women and their children who have been victims of domestic violence.
