Kathy Chapel, M.S., L.M.F.T. (46324) -- Divorce Counseling, Grief work, Parenting

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who, over the years, has assisted many on their journey toward healing and coping with life’s challenges. As a mental health therapist, I practice from a strengths-based approach and believe every client has unique traits and gifts that can be utilized during the therapeutic process.

My background includes working with children, adolescents, adults and families experiencing a variety of mental health issues.  I believe in meeting clients where they are in their journey, and helping them discover their inner resources and skills, in order to overcome their current struggles and obstacles so that a more authentic life can be lived. I feel honored to be a witness to the journey of my clients who dare to open to their full potential, and speak their truth.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Counseling from California State University, Northridge. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and teens. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Specialized training in:

  • Divorce Counseling, including High-Conflict Divorce
  • Parent Education
  • Grief / loss Issues
  • Sexual Abuse
  • Fertility Issues

I invite you to call me directly with any questions or concerns at: 818.324.0119
